Special source revealed disputes within the Huthi group on the light of the resignation of “Major General Abdul Razzaq al-Marwani,” of the leadership of the Central Security Forces.
The source close to the «Marwani» said that he submitted his resignation a few days ago to the leader of the Huthi Mahdi al-Mashat, the head of the so-called «Supreme Political Council», which in turn accepted it, and quickly issued a decision to appoint “Mohamed Ali al-Yasani” as new commander of the Central Security Forces instead.
The source, who asked not to be named, said that Major General Al-Marwani submitted his resignation a few days ago, in protest against the confiscation of his decision by his deputy, “Al-Yasani”.
He added «any order issued by the Marwani can be implemented only after the approval of the al-Yasani ».
According to the private source, «al-Mashat», after accepting the resignation, issued a decision to appoint «al-Yasani» who is close to «Muhammad Ali al-Houthi», but «Marwani», received orders from «Abdul Malik al-Huthi» to withdraw the resignation and stay in office, and not accept the decision to appoint a commander Instead of him.
