The Yemeni parliamentarian Ali Ashal strongly criticized the UAE actions in last days in several southern cities.
He called on the state leaders, “officials, parties, members of the House of Representatives and members of the government,” to leave the “squares of silence” to deter the abusers of Yemen’s security.
“There will be no messing with the security and stability of Yemen unless everyone stands up and talk about it, we will not allow a party in the coalition supporting the legitimacy to deviate from the objectives of this alliance,” Ashal said on Thursday, in a tweet to his Twitter account.
MP Ashal’s comment comes after recent events in the interim capital of Aden and the governorates of Shabwah and Socotra.
“The situation we have lived before the fall of Sanaa” is near to what happens today, he said, adding that all parties are concerned with correcting the dysfunctional situation.
On Thursday, activists launched an electronic campaign on social networking sites under the hashtag “Expell UAE is a demand” After the escalation of “rebellion” against local authorities in Socotra and Shabwah by armed groups affiliated with the United Arab Emirates.
