More than a thousand displaced families in Aden Governorate were affected by the heavy rains that struck the governorate.
“The 1024 families displaced in Aden were affected by the rains in the directorates of the governorate,” the executive unit for the management of the displaced persons camps said in a statement.
The unit added that displaces in Aden need “108 tents, 533 trims and wood for partial damage, 1011 shelter materials, 1024 food baskets and 1024 healthy baskets.”
And on Thursday, torrential rains struck Aden governorate, which the legitimate government takes as the country’s temporary capital, and includes thousands of displaced families.
The Emirati-backed transitional council has been in control in Aden since last August, and the city is witnessing a deterioration in the health and service situation and a widespread epidemic that has claimed hundreds of lives.
