According to private sources, al-Muhairi is the one who ordered the assassination of imams of mosques, who is responsible for funding al-Qaeda in the region, and runs secret prisons in Aden.
Abu Khalifa Saeed al-Muhairi also funds the Transitional Council’s killing militias, death squads and physical assassinations, which is primarily responsible for raping prisoners.
