عدن نيوز - Aden News:
Nine members of Yemen’s parliament called on President Hadi to stop the UAE’s participation in the war in Yemen.
The parliamentarians also blamed Saudi Arabia for the events in Aden as the leader of the Arab coalition that intervened in Yemen to support legitimacy.
In a statement issued late Friday and signed by nine council members, they called on President Hadi to use his powers and to dispense the United Arab Emirates from continuing to participate in the Arab coalition forces and to leave all the territory of the Republic of Yemen.
The deputies expressed great concern about the events in the interim capital Aden, which led to a coup d’état on the legitimate authority by the so-called Transitional Council and with the full support of the United Arab Emirates, where presidential protection camps were attacked and occupied and their weapons looted, as well as occupation and looting of the premises of legitimate institutions.”
The statement blamed Saudi Arabia’s leadership for its “responsibility for what has happened and is happening in Aden and the rest of the liberated territory of the Republic of Yemen,” which is the leader of the Arab coalition.
The statement also called on the Presidency of the House of Representatives to quickly call on the Council to convene in the liberated areas as soon as possible to assume its constitutional responsibilities and duties.
