UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash said on Wednesday that the time has come for the international community to describe a spade a spade in Yemen, pointing out that the Houthi militia is undermining Sweden’s agreement and efforts to achieve peace.
Gargash stressed that “addressing this fact is necessary for all to move forward in the peace process.”
“It is no longer possible to accuse the coalition of prolonging the war and obstructing the path to peace,” Gargash said in tweets. “It is time for the international community, NGOs and the press to use the right terms when addressing the intransigent Houthi behavior.”
