The sister of “Zakaria Qasem”, who was forcibly abducted in the Emirates prisons in Aden, confirmed that the director of security in the province, “Shalal Shaye,” told them after the arrest in January last year that Zakaria was detained, but they were not allowed to meet him.
she said in a statement in a protest “We asked about Zakaria in all the prisons that we know in Aden, but we did not find him. And we do not know about his fate until the moment”.
“We demand the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Minister of the Interior and the Director of the Security of Aden to reveal the fate of my brother, to release him and to take responsibility for his safety, his life and any harm that may be caused to him.”
In her speech on behalf of her family, she referred to the news that has been sharing for days about the death of her brother under torture, noting that the news has increased the suffering of the family.
