According to local sources, al-Houthi militia moved 12 foreign nuns from the province of Hodeidah, west of the country, to the capital Sana’a.
The sources added that the militias detained dozens of workers at the Dar al-Salam psychiatric and neurological hospital, which turned it into a military barracks.
The sources pointed out that the nuns volunteers of different nationalities have been held by Houthi militias for days, in Dar alSalam hospital in the city of Hodeidah, before facing international pressure which forced them to move the nuns to Sanaa.
According to medical sources, foreign nuns have been working as volunteers at the Dar al-Salam psychiatric and neurological hospital at al-Hawk Directorate in Hodeidah since 8 years.
The nuns called for their return to their countries after the Houthi militia stormed the hospital and turned it into a military barracks.
