Houthi rebels kidnap more than 50 student –most of them are girls – from Sanaa Univ.

Al-Houthi militia kidnapped on Saturday more than 50 students from Sana’a University after the militia entered by force the the Faculty of Commerce and Economy. The students were taken to unknown places after the attack and their phones were shut down.

“We were surprised this morning by the entry of buses full of gunmen and “Zinbiyat” militia to the university and the implementation of a kidnapping actions of students (boys and girls), beating them and the use of electric shock against students by the” Zinbiyat. ”

The militia also abducted one of the students who filmed the attacks before the militia also destroyed the surveillance camera of the CAC Bank ATM machine.

Zinbiyat began spreading inside the college campus, searching telephones contents and preventing students from leaving or entering the college.

A student (girl) was stunned after being hit by an electric shock by a Zinbiyat.

The “Zinbiyat” is a female militia affiliated with the repression and spy services of the Houthi militia and they are charged with reporting, raiding, searching and abducting women, particularly in Sana’a.
