Sources close to the martyr, major general Mohammed Saleh Tamah, said that the delay by Abu Sultan, the military commander of UAE in Aden, in transporting the military leader outside Yemen for treatment was the main cause of complications that led to his death.
Wadah Tamah, nephew of Tamah, said he was with his uncle since he was wounded at the base of Al-Anad.
Pointing out that his uncle received first aid at the Doctors Without Borders hospital.
“He underwent surgery and his condition was almost stable.. However, he suffered from diabetes and stress. To observe any complications is what really did happen. There was a need for intensive care to monitor any complications, which did not really happen” he clarified.
“The major general began to lose his breath after that, and we tried to departure him abroad as soon as possible but UAE commander delayed us.. finally he died” he concluded.
