Yemen’s warring parties on Wednesday agreed to reopen the Houthi-controlled capital Sanaa airport, one of the confidence-building measures being discussed during the UN-led peace talks in Sweden, .
The Iranian-backed Houthi delegation and government delegation, agreed international flights would land at a government-controlled airport for inspection before traveling from or to Sana’a. They did not agree whether the inspections would take place at Aden airport or Sayoun airport.
Sanaa airport is under the control of the Houthis, but the Saudi-led military coalition controlling airspace has restricted access to it.
