Shortly after the al-Houthi group announced its official negotiator delegation from Sanaa International Airport via a Kuwaiti plane to Sweden, the spokesman of the Huthi group, Mohammed Abdul Salam, called on the fighters of the militia to carry arms.
Abdulsalam said in a tweet: The national delegation left Sana’a to Sweden on a Kuwaiti plane. We will work for the success of consultations, peace and an endig the war. At the same time, we call on the army, the security and the popular committees to be alert to any military escalation and to take up arms.
The peace talks between the Houthis and the Legitimate are set to begin in the Swedish city of Stockholm next Thursday.
