Houthi militia on Saturday closed one of the most prominent restaurants in the capital Sana’a, which has been opened for less than a year.
Local sources said that the Houthi militia closed the restaurant “al-Ameed” in the neighborhood of “al-Safiah in the capital Sanaa for unknown reasons.
Residents close to the restaurant said the closure of the restaurant came as a result of the Houthis’ extortion to the new investor, even though he followed all legal procedures to open the restaurant, but the continuous extortion of rebels pushed him to close it.
Investors in the capital Sana’a are suffering from ongoing blackmail by the Houthis who seek to limit their activities in order to replace them by their loyalists in the commercial and investment sectors.
