Private sources revealed that Prime Minister Moeen Abdulmalik arranged for the arrival of an upcoming flight to Aden airport from a country infected with the Coronavirus.
The sources confirmed that Mu’in Abdul-Malik had arranged for 14 people to arrive at Aden Airport, from one of the countries where the epidemic broke out.
The sources pointed out that the permission to land the plane came from the Prime Minister’s Office, despite fears of a pandemic outbreak in Yemen, which has not recorded any case until today.
Citizens demonstrated in front of Aden airport, protesting the prime minister move.
The Prime Minister had issued allowance a few days ago for a plane coming from Djibouti to land at one of the airports in Hadramout governorate, but the governorate prevented the plane from landing.
