Aden security belt assaults displaced men and tries to sexually assault displaced women

Local sources said that the forces of what is known as the “security belt” assaulted displaced men and women from Al-Hodeidah governorate and arrested 4 of them on charges of working for the Houthis, in the Dar Saad district north of the temporary capital, Aden, south of the country.

The sources pointed out that units of the security belt in Aden and Lahj stormed a camp for the displaced in the outskirts of Dar Saad district and assaulted a number of residents of the camp belonging to the province of Hodeidah, and then arrested 4 of them on charges of working with the Houthis.

Sources indicated that displaced women were harassed by the soldiers after expressing their opposition to the attack on their relatives.

Videos of interviews with a number of displaced women and men explaining the terrible attacks they were subjected to, pointing to the beating and harassment of women.
