A military source said that gunmen loyal to what known as the “Southern Transitional Council” prevented, on Monday, a Saudi force to enter the oil port in the temporary capital, Aden, in the south of the country.
The source pointed out that a military force that includes armored vehicles and crews with prominent officers of the Saudi forces in Aden came to the port of oil to start negotiations with an armed group loyal to the southern transitional council supported by the Emirates, to discourage them from stopping pumping oil from one of the ships, but the militants prevented them.
According to the source, gunmen led by Abdel Nasser Al-Yafeai, known as “Abu Hammam”, closed the gate of the oil port in front of the Saudi force, despite the Saudi officers ’attempts to reach an understanding with the gunmen guarding the gate, causing a fight between the soldiers and the Saudi force, which later withdrew.
