Demonstrators in Taiz denounce the Emirati conspiracy to to isolate the coastal areas from the governorate

The city of Taiz witnessed on Wednesday a protest demonstration by the people of the coastal districts to express their rejection of the conspiracy to isolate the coast militarily, administratively and securityly, from the city of Taiz.

The demonstration called on President Hadi to thwart the Emirati plot.

The demonstration, which was called for by the Sons of Coastal Districts, went out this morning, Wednesday, from the Education Office to the provincial headquarters in Jamal Street in the city of Taiz.

In a statement issued by the demonstration, the protesters renewed their rejection of what they described as the “Emirati plot aimed at isolating the districts of the West Coast” (Al-Mandab, Dhubab, Al-Wazi’ah, Mauza’a, Al-Mukha) from Taiz city, or handing over its management to the forces led by Tariq Saleh.

The demonstrators expressed their rejection of the policies of exclusion, marginalization, and negligence against the people of the coastal districts, in a systematic and continuous manner.

The participants stressed the need to respect the political and civil rights of the sons of the coastal directorates and their representation in the executive offices in the governorate.

The demonstrators renewed their rejection of some parties’ control of public and private lands and real estate, and denounced the continuation of the policies and methods of guardianship and hegemony over the districts of the coastal districts and the confiscation of the will of its sons through militia formations.
