The Saudi authorities refused to grant entry visas to a senior leader in the Southern Transitional Council, because of its links with the Iranian regime.
Local sources said that the Saudi authorities refused to grant the leader of the Transitional Council, Yahya Ghaleb Al-Shuaibi, a visa to enter its territory, due to his presence on the lists of those banned from entering the Kingdom because of his ties to Iran and Hezbollah.
The transitional council recently appointed al-Shuaibi as a member of its political negotiating body to follow up on the implementation of the Riyadh agreement.
Al-Shuaibi worked between 2011 and 2015 as part of the Iranian political system in the Arab region and settled in Beirut.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia previously issued a list of those prevented from entering its territories, and Al-Shuaibi was one of them.
