Local sources said that four international organizations working in the relief field began procedures to leave the Al-Dali governorate on Sunday evening, 24 hours after attacks targeting its headquarters.
The four international aid organizations were attacked by pro-Emirati gunmen in the city.
The sources said that “ACTED”, “RESCUE”, “Oxfam” and “Women Development” organizations began evacuating their headquarters and assembling their employees working in the field side in the governorate regions, in addition to starting to arrange the conditions of their employees.
A youth activist in Al-Dali ‘governorate said that people affiliated with the UAE-backed Salafi movement distributed leaflets last Thursday night with warnings of “the danger of international organizations.”
The activist added that the leaflets included warning the organizations because they “encourage intermingling of young men and women working with them, in addition to pushing women towards leaving other areas with other young men without the presence of a mahram.”
The source said that after 24 hours of distributing leaflets and warning papers, unidentified gunmen attacked the headquarters of the “ACTED” organization with RPGs, then the militants repeated their attack the following day, through separate attacks targeting the buildings of three organizations working in the relief and human rights field.
The source said that the attacks targeted the “rescue” organization located near the Solidarity Hospital, the “Oxfam” organization in the Habil Jabbari area, and the “Women Development” organization in the Nasham area near the Nasr General Hospital.
Local sources reported that the four attacks on the medical organizations ‘buildings in Al-Dhalea governorate did not result in deaths or injuries, but they caused some damage in the four buildings.
