Government sources in the provisional capital of Aden said that the so-called UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council prevented the entry of Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadrami to the city to practice his work.
The sources explained that the minister was prevented from entering the city at the behest of the UAE.
Observers said that this action comes as a response from the UAE to sharp criticism and strong positions expressed by the Minister AlHadrami towards Abu Dhabi, on the background of UAE’ suspicious movements in Yemen, including airstrikes of the Emirati warplanes against government military forces.
