A senior commander of the Saudi Arabia-led coalition forces and five of his bodyguards were killed in a bomb explosion in Yemen’s southeastern province of Hadramout on Thursday.

According to government official a roadside bomb blast killed the Saudi army commander named as Abu Nawaf along with five of his bodyguards: two Saudi soldiers and three members of the Yemeni forces.

Observers and activists have accused the UAE of involvement in the incident.
They said that Abu Dhabi is seeking to spread chaos in the area of Wadi Hadramout and undermine its stability, as it is under the control of the legitimate government.
Transport Minister Saleh al-Jubwani said on Wednesday that the Yemeni government has evidence of the UAE’s relationship with al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorists.

“We have all the evidence of the UAE’s relationship with al-Qaeda and ISIS in Yemen and in names,” he said in a tweet on his Twitter account.

Al-Jubwani pointed out that the UAE used these terrorists to monitor and hit the Yemeni army reinforcements.
