The governor of Shabwa province, Mohammed Saleh bin Adio, announced the end of tension in Ataq city after days of disputes and disagreement between government units and so-called Shabwanian elite forces loyal to the United Arab Emirates (an outlaw militia).
The province of Shabwa greeted all the people of the province, who have forgotten their differences and accepted the call for maintaining peace after Shabwani elite forces had withdrawn from the sites it occupied in the last days.
The governor said in that the bet to drag Shabwa province to violence is a losing bet.
The Shabwani elite forces have withdrawn from all the new positions in Ataq, which have caused the security situation in the province to strain during the past two days.
