Southern National Conference welcomes any calls and efforts to unify southern components

The Southern National Conference welcomed any calls and efforts to unite the southern dispersion and unify its components.

The conference said in a statement issued by the conference leader Sheikh Ahmed Saleh al-Eisy that it supports the convening of a conference of political sides in the south in order to come up with a common political vision.

The statement stressed that the leaders have to work for the unification of the southern components in a southern consensual framework that holds the will of the people of the south and aspirations away from the custody of any party.

Stressing that “there is no alternative to us to get out of our negative reality except through accepting each other and leaving the bickering causing divisions and dissonance, and to work to achieve what serves the lives of people in the South and translate the aspirations of the southerners and achieve their ambitions and support the state institutions to do its duties.
