In a TV report, the Saudi “Al Arabiya” news channel on Friday evening, pointed to a growing dispute between the Houthis and their allies in what is known as the Southern Movement.
The report said that leaders of the southern movement accused the Houthi militia of exerting pressure on its members of ministers participating in the coup government.
The report pointed out that the leaders of the militias, including the director of the coup president Office, Ahmed Hamid, threat and exert pressures to exclude the southern allies, including the Minister of Tourism in the Huthi government, Nasser Ba Qazquz, from Hadramout province, which led him to submit his resignation.
Pointing out that the militias had prevented the Minister from entering his office in the ministry.
The report also pointed to the pressure of militias on its southern allies, which forced the former Minister of Information Abdul Salam Jaber, to defect from the group and flee to Riyadh.
The South Minister Ahmed al-Qana’a, the Minister of the outputs of dialogue in the government of the coup, also talked about threats he gets from Houthi leaders.
In its report, the channel linked the leadership of the southern movement with Iran, the main supporter of the Houthi militias.
