Informed sources revealed a secret meeting was held between the popular resistance leader in Aden Adel al-Hassani and Deputy Interior Minister Nasser Lakhsha’a in the presence of Interior Minister Ahmed al-Meisari in the interim capital Aden.
“In June last year, a meeting was held between Adel al-Hassani, Deputy Interior Minister Nasser Lakhsha’a and Interior Minister Ahmed al- Meisari at the home of the Yemeni interior minister in Reemy area of Aden,” the sources said.
The sources explained that al-Hassani criticized the deputy Interior Minister “when he denied the existence of secret prisons at that period.”
The sources added that Deputy Interior Minister “Lakhsha’a” told Al-Hassani that: “I build this agreement between us and the Emiratis, to deny the existence of secret prisons in exchange for handing us over the prisons and the abductees, and so far they handed us more than 200 prisoners who were in secret prisons and promised to hand over the rest.”
The sources said, “Al-Hassani responded by saying: There are hidden people who died under torture and others are still kidnapped.” However, Lakhsha’asaid: “My son, everyone has settled his situation with the Emiratis and I am one of them,” the source said.
