The Houthi coup authorities in the central province of Ibb on Tuesday detained a security official a few weeks after he was appointed as a senior security official.
Informed sources confirmed that the supervisor of the Huthis group in the province of Ibb yesterday ordered the detention of Colonel Arafat Sharaf and was placed in the prison of the intelligence building “political security” in Ibb city.
Local sources spoke about disputes between the Sharaf and leader of Huthi, which are likely caused his detention.
Colonel Sharaf is a leader of the Congress Party in the governorate and has contributions and humanitarian activities in the city of Ibb.
He also wrote many post attacking the Houthis coming from Sana’a, Sa’ada, Amran and Dhamar trying to take the positions of city officials.
