Houthis refuse the ” Plan B” of USA to solve the crisis in Yemen
The Huthi rebels said late Monday that they reject the “vision of Matisse” launched by US Defense Secretary James Matisse to resolve the Yemen crisis.
A member of the negotiations in the Houthi rebels, Abdulmalik al-Ajri said in a tweet on his Twitter page that “the talk of Mates about autonomous areas reveals their intentions and is rejected by all national forces.”
“The talk of the US Defense Secretary, Matisse, about the possibility for Huthis of getting an autonomous region, as if the houthis represent an ethnic nationality, or Yemen is a multi-ethnic country or the conflict in Yemen is based on social rather than political causes.”
Speaking at the Manama security conference, Matisse spoke about part of the details of the settlement being prepared in Yemen, which is based on dividing Yemen into areas with autonomy areas after a gradual disarmament process.
