Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said his country would play a role in the war between the al-Houthi group and the Saudi-led Arab alliance in Yemen, local television reported.
Khan added that he would try to unite Muslim countries, in addition to playing the role of “mediator” to resolve confrontations between Muslim countries, according to the channel of “Jews News”.
“We strive to act as a mediator to solve the Yemen crisis.” He clarified.
Since 2015, an Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia has been leadin military operations in Yemen in support of government forces in the war against Huthis, which accused of receiving Iranian support and controled provinces, including Sanaa since 2014.
