UN Security Council Condemns Houthi Attacks and Calls for Immediate Release of MV Galaxy Leader

In a stern press statement, members of the United Nations Security Council have vehemently condemned the recent attacks conducted by the Houthi rebels against a commercial vessel in the Red Sea. The members highlighted the ongoing threats and previous attacks targeting oil stations under the control of the Yemeni government, demanding an immediate cessation of all such hostilities.

The Council members also called for the immediate release of the vessel MV Galaxy Leader and its crew, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the rights and freedoms of navigation for all ships in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea in accordance with international law.
