Lahj: Two soldiers in UAE-backed SB forces killed and 50 others captured in clashes with giants forces

 

Two soldiers in the UAE-backed security belt forces were killed and 50 others were captured today, Monday, in clashes with giants brigade forces in Lahj governorate, southern Yemen.

Media sources, quoting the spokesman for the Sabbiha tribes, Ahmed Atef Al-Subaihi, said that the clashes that broke out between the security belt forces and the forces of the leader in the giants brigades (Hamdi Shukri Al-Subaihi) in Al-Fyoush area in Lahj, resulted in the death of two soldiers from the security belt forces and the capture of 50 others, and the giants brigades seized 5 military vehicles and an armored vehicle.

The sources pointed out that a state of calm witnessed in the region after the formation of a joint committee comprising military and security leaders to investigate the incident.

Since yesterday evening, Sunday, the Al-Fyoush and Sabr area in Lahj have been experiencing tension due to the gathering of dozens of patrols coming from Sabbiha, to denounce the storming of the security belt forces into the house of Deputy Minister of Technical Education, Abd Rabboh Al-Mahwali.
