Local sources said that forces loyal to the UAE raided houses of citizens in three separate areas in the temporary capital, Aden, Thursday morning.
A local source in the Khormaksar district, east of Aden, said that a force from the security belt of the Southern Transitional Council stormed two houses in the city and took two citizens without specifying the motives for their arrest.
According to the source, a force from the SB arrived, comprising more than 10 military vehicles with dozens of soldiers on board, including masked gunmen. The force cordoned off two houses of citizens in Khormaksar and then began the storming operation.
Witnesses added that the soldiers of the UAE security forces arrested the citizens and then left towards the Burega District, where the headquarters of the security belt forces are located.
In Sheikh Othman, north of Aden, forces from the security belt raided a citizen’s house, arrested him and took him to an unknown destination.
