Local sources said that a force affiliated with the UAE-backed “Southern Transitional Council” stormed the house of a leader close to Saudi Arabia yesterday, Wednesday, in the Qaloua neighborhood, west of Aden.
The sources added that the force raided late Wednesday, the house of Muhammad Tahir, a member of the local council and head of the overdue salary payment committee, which is a center of the Southern Transitional Council and of leaders loyal to Abu Dhabi.
According to the sources, Taher was arrested and taken to a security headquarters west of the temporary capital.
The sources did not provide additional details about the case and its motives.
