The leader of Al-Jawf resistance, Sheikh al-Hassan Abkar, sent a strong message to the UAE after an Emirati official spoke about naturalizing of the residents of Socotra Island.
“Land, honour and religion, are three values that a real Yemeni can never throw away, even if he is going to face all the temptations of life,” said Hassan Abker in response to the UAE official.
He added “We are ready to live in hard conditions, to live in caves , and to move through cattle, but we will never sell a small piece of our homeland to anyone.”
